Businesses focus to improve social network platforms

Small and medium-sized business are constantly looking to improve social network users' perspective on their company. With social networking becoming more popular, Campaigner, an email marketing service, recently introduced new features that will help companies attract and retain business.

“The synergies between email marketing and social media are evident, particularly as email marketers explore the value of enabling their messages to be easily shared on social networks like Facebook and Twitter,” said Paul Turnbull, product manager, Campaigner. “Instead of having to deal with both an email marketing service and social media management tool, customers now have the ability to share emails on multiple social platforms through one easy-to-use interface. Marketers will now be able to send emails they receive to their own networks through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ using permalinks that are sharable. The share-with-your-network feature allows subscribers to send out information that offers insight into promotional offers and newsletters, which could also increase a business' customer base.

When users share more content, they are providing free word-of-mouth marketing for a company, which can serve as a huge boost to a brand's image and exposure.

Campaigner also added a function that allows subscription management forms and messaging, which enables businesses to customize how subscribers access and manage email preferences.

According to TechCrunch.com, there are now more than 1 billion users of social media worldwide. Considering that most mobile devices now include apps and direct access to sites like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, social networks are becoming even more profitable outlets for marketing your business.
