According to the source, businesses aren't in need of a complex online system that tracks customer incentive programs. Even though it can be useful, the program could also prove to be extremely costly.

Providing discounts will probably get the customers to come back more often, knowing that they can get a percentage off their next purchase. Many businesses are offering discount codes to new shoppers, but companies should make sure that they provide all of their customers with the same incentives in order to stay consistent.

Offering free shipping on items that customers order can also significantly increase loyalty. Considering purchases can already be expensive, companies that offer deals such as free shipping could keep customers coming back for more products and lead them to purchase more from the site.

More hotels are beginning to adopt practices that offer guests a significant discount for staying with them consistently. Considering the tough economic times, making sure customers are pleased by offering discounts and incentives could definitely attract more people to try a new service, proving small business advertising is key.
