In a recent Business2Community article, internet marketer James Debono offered several business marketing tips for small enterprise owners looking to kickstart their advertising campaigns and improve their visibility.
According to Debono, the cornerstone of garnering and maintaining consumer interest is creating valuable content. Publishing articles and videos relevant to industry insiders and customers alike can springboard your company's name and take awareness of the business to a new level. Ultimately, this could open the enterprise up to joint ventures and opportunities for growth and expansion.
In the quest to attract new clients, Debono warns not to forget about existing customers.
"Devote time and attention to communicating with them regularly in ways they appreciate and find useful and they'll reward you with referrals, social signals and new and repeat business when the time is right," he writes.
In a separate article by the news source, Mark Schmulen, general manager of social media at the small business-focused e-mail service provider Constant Contact, advised entrepreneurs to approach business promotions with specific goals in mind - for example, boosting revenue, attracting subscribers or building thought leadership.
