Promotional products used in recent marketing campaigns by several different mobile device manufacturers proved highly memorable to the majority of potential clients, according to a recent report.
In a recent survey by Vanguard Business Desk investigation unit, 70 percent of respondents said they could easily remember promotional products and other marketing techniques used by mobile device manufacturers MTN, Zain, Glo and Nokia in recent marketing campaigns for blackberry devices, Vanguard News reported.
The mobile device industry has grown increasingly competitive in recent years as a number of new players have offered new mobile internet devices to consumers that replicate devices offered by older players such as Research in Motion and Palm. This has created a greater incentive for companies in the industry to differentiate themselves through effective marketing and brand formation.
Firms in all sectors often turn to promotional products such as custom pens, custom pencils and personalized calendars to help market new items. Promotional products allow companies to establish personal connections with potential clients, and serve as visible reminders of company offerings and brands.
