Obama passes AJA to Congress

More than 27 million small businesses currently operate in the United States, according to the Small Business Administration, and many are wondering how they'll hire their next employee during this recession.

Four days following the proposal of the American Jobs Act, President Obama is sending the $447 billion bill to Congress and urging them to pass it, The Los Angeles Times Reports.

The bill includes tax cuts for businesses that hire new employees, as well as employer payroll tax cuts that would put more money in American pockets. As one of leading employers in the country, small businesses will be the first to reap the benefits of this act if it's to follow suit on its employment recovery claim.

According to the news source, House Republican leaders have a positive outlook on the proposal, but noted certain areas of the act required amendments. This bodes well for both the democratic and republican parties, as bipartisanship attitudes have seemingly been put to rest for the time being.

President Obama will travel across the country to promote the American Jobs Act, while discussing the details and benefits with citizens.
