I ordered some Murano Duets for my church choir and gave the remainder of the order to the church to give as gifts to guests. They looked very nice, but I noticed one of the note pads was falling apart straight out of the box, and I was apalled at the cheap construction of the plastic pen. The pen tip on my Duet set would not click into place for several tries. When the pen tip finally clicked down, the minute I pressed it against the paper to write, the top half of the pen shot across the room. I saw the same thing happen with one of the choir members. I was totally embarrassed to have given these as gifts. So far, my calendar and note pad are holding up OK, but I had to throw away the pen on its first use.
