I got our order within a few days of placing the order so the service and price were great. My only complaint is that the pens do not write right away and since we are using them for marketing materials that is concerning to me because it makes us look like we cant even afford pens that work. If someone decides to take the time to try to get it to write then it will start working after about 5 minutes of continuous going back and forth on a piece of paper.

I am titling this review as 1/2 and 1/2, mainly because 1/2 of the pens work and 1/2 do not, but if you buy cheap you probably will get cheap. The only reason we choose Amsterdam for our marketing pen choice is because they had a really great deal on the pens - $75 for 500 pens and free printing on them... it is hard to say no to that kind of deal! I gave a better rating on the service because they were very helpful. We did have quite a few problems in the beginning with getting the promo pens for the sale price they had posted. We were told that we had to search for the promo codes to get the sale price which is a bit ridiculous, but when we couldn't find the code we called customer service back and someone helped us check out all the way. My one suggestion is that this should have been done the first time, instead of us searching for the promo code that did not exist because it was a SALE price. Other than all of that, we did get what we paid for and with quick service. We will keep Amsterdam in mind for future marketing items, but we will most definitely choose a better quality product.

I ordered the pens for our first family reunion, and was greatly surprised that they arrived so quickly. The imprint was exactly the way I wanted it.

I ordered 500 of these pens for my company. Everything went seamlessly, or so I thought. After my bank account was debited the total amount, it was credited shortly after and a new debit was made. On the website it says I ordered 500, on the emailed invoice, it said 525. I emailed Amsterdam when I noticed-before I even received the pens. I didn't mind getting 25 more pens as they were rather inexpensive. But I didn't authorize a different amount to be debited from my account. I never got a response. I got the pens and didn't think anything of it...until I decided to count them. The invoice in the box says 500, the total pens in the box was 500, but I paid for 525. Two pens were broken, otherwise I'm very pleased with the product. Now I have to figure out how to handle my money being stolen by this company.
