October 18, 2016-Amsterdam, NY - The first week in October was no ordinary week for Amsterdam Printing. The employees were on a mission to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness and raise money for a fantastic cause. The participation was outstanding! And as a result, a check for $3500.00 will proudly be presented to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Throughout the week, each of the individual locations had their own fundraising efforts. Some of the events included: wrist band sales, hot dog sales, bake sales, 50/50 raffles & Bingo games.
On Friday, October 7th, employees were encouraged to wear pink to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness for ‘Wear Pink Day’. Across all locations, there were 400 employees dressed in pink. The company graciously donated $5.00 for every single person dressed in pink.
